Saramonic Releases Saramonic Air — Pocket-sized Wireless Microphone with Mic In for Beginning Creators

2025.06.25 10:03

Shenzhen, China (June 25, 2025) – Saramonic, a leading power in audio innovation, releases Saramonic Air, a wireless lavalier microphone system for entry-level creators. With a re-engineered Ø9.7 mm capsule on the wired lav, 90 dB SNR, 3 EQ presets, and much more, this compact microphone is an ideal system for creators who seek a richer sound experience and ease of content creation.

Sound Quality, Always First

Though made for creators on the entry-level, Saramonic Air doesn't compromise on its sound quality — 90 dB SNR makes the talent's voice stand out from the low self noise, 48 kHz/24 bit audio resolution offers descent audio quality, and 120 dB max SPL is capable of handling most loud moments in everyday life without distortion (with proper gain staging).

To take the sound quality even further, the company re-engineered a wired lav mic that features a Ø9.7 mm capsule embeded with a Ø6 mm diaphragm, which is 1.5 times that of the built-in microphone — so creators can record on a richer and fuller scale.

The reengineered wired lav mic (on the right) features a Ø9.7 mm capsule and a Ø6 mm diaphragm. The smallest transmitter (11 g) Saramonic has introduced in a wireless lav mic system (on the left).

To give users who are not tech-savvy an easier recording experience, Air offers three EQ presets readily available on Saramonic app — Vocal Boost for making the talent's voice stand out from the ambiance; Low Bump for boosting lower frequencies to make the voice sound deeper; and High Lift enhances high frequencies to add more clarity and brillance.

Double Safety Nets - Anti Clipping

Inheriting from its predecessors like Saramonic Mix and Blink500 B2+, Air is also featuring Safety Track and Limiter, the former of which records a separate mono track 6 dB quieter than the main one, so there's a backup track for use in post. The Limiter caps peaks and brings down the output gain automatically, preventing clippings. Coupled with the 120 dB max SPL, these two features serve as safety nets for loud moments in everyday use.

Retro Look that Turns Head

Inspired by the 90's, Saramonic took a bold move when it comes to the microphone's style. On top of the metal charging case in galactic gray, Air features a see-through window on top, so users can see the content inside effortlessly — including the battery level expressed in digits, a very much wanted feature by customers per their survey.

Users can see all the content inside via the see-through window on the charging case.

The 1.05'' display on the receiver demonstrates gains, audio level meter, and menu in pixelized fonts, transporting users back in time to the 90's. And the orange buttons add a fun touch to the overall nostalgic look.
