Saramonic, a professional audio equipment brand, showcased its latest audio technologies at Broadcast Asia 2024 at Singapore Expo from May 29 to 31st. The company made connections with over 500 professionals and budding creaotors within the broadcast industry.

The 4-person team of Saramonic welcomed a total of over 500 visitors during the 3-day event, demonstrating a whole fleet of products across applications, including wireless microphones for social media content creators, dynamic microphones for podcasters, shotgun microphones for interviews, and intercom systems for TV and film crews. Products such as BlinkMe series and Blink500 B2+ garnered significant attention and acclaim.
The booth was designed with Making Connections as its theme, examplified by two interacting hands on the backdrop — one hand reaching out with a Blink500 B2+ with an open lid and the other hand taking out a transmitter from the charging case.
Southeast Asia is the hub for content creation where the company sees lots of young and emerging talents, so it intended to leverage Broadcast Asia to establish or rekindle connections with people from the broadcasting industry in Asia-Pacific. With the poster, Saramonic was signaling to the industry that it encourged every creator, professional or novice, to come to the show site and try its products.
BlinkMe, a microphone series with touchscreen-ed transmitters, was particularly eye-catching.
"When I was browsing by your booth, the button-like device caught my eyes immediately," said one videographer. "I like the touchscreen design as it provides us with a self-branding option. Doing what we do, we want our studio name to be remembered. And those impressions are essential for a small business. I appreciate all the thoughts that went into the design."

The other star product at the event was Blink500 B2+, a compact and lightweight wireless microphone introduced to the market earlier in 2024. "It's even lighter than the one I am wearing right now," commented a visitor, who was going live on Instagram to introduce industrial updates to his followers. "And I like the dual-output feature. As an active blogger on both Instagram and YouTube, I sometime struggle with the video dimension. Should I go landscape or portrait? This feature perfectly suits my needs as I see myself shooting content vertically and horizontally at the same time - phone for Instagram and camera for YouTube. That easily takes off some workload in post production."

Being on the outermost stand, SR-BV1 stood out among other microphones made for podcasting. According to on-site staff, it was intentionally set on the outmost place because the stand had a mixed audience — some of them were seekers of audio solutions and the other ones were were just beginning to produce content. The product arrangement encouraged people, professional or not, to try every produdct available at the stand as they believed that they were made for people and should serve to inspire creativity.
