Saramonic launches its latest wireless lavalier microphone—Saramonic Ultra—for professional content creators. With timecode, 130 dB SPL, 32-bit float recording, IPX5-rated transmitters, and an external antenna, the Saramonic Ultra is packed with pro features that deliver top-notch performance in demanding environments, providing creators with more freedom for creativity and more editing room in post-production.

Timecode for Down-to-Frame Audio-Video Sync

In response to the growing creator community, timecode is added to Saramonic's product lineup for the first time. With taps on the AMOLED screen, creators can easily activate this feature to sync timecodes across the microphone, cameras, and other audio recorders, regardless of when each device starts recording. In post-production, this ensures that audio and videos can be synchronized down to the frame with the auto-sync function offered by editing software, saving valuable editing time and effort.

Never-Seen-Before 130 dB SPL

The Saramonic Ultra can handle a sound pressure level of up to 130 dB without distortion, making it an ideal option for capturing high-quality audio in challenging environments such as live concerts, sporting events, and drum performances. This unprecedented level of SPL in the category of wireless lavalier mics gives creators the freedom to record loud sound sources with reduced risk of distortion and loss of details.

32-bit Float Recording with 8 GB Storage

The onboard recording is no stranger to Saramonic users, and it is featured in models like BlinkMe and Blink900 B2R. With Saramonic Ultra, 32-bit is now available as the resolution for onboard recording, which offers a wider dynamic range that can capture everything from whispers to loud sounds without distortion or clippings. Even if the gain value is not set correctly during recording, 32-bit can provide ample room for adjustment in post-production without compromising audio quality.

IPX5 Waterproof for Wet Adventures

To seriously match its name, Saramonic Ultra's transmitter is IPX5-rated, a rare feature found in the category of wireless lavalier microphones. This function is offered to creators who need studio-quality audio in challenging conditions, such as outdoor shoots and environments where water is a part of content creation.

External Antenna for 300 m Line-of-Sight

For the first time in the industry, an external antenna is offered in a wireless Lavalier microphone setup. This piece of accessory connects to the receiver on the side and serves to enhance signal strength and extend transmission to up to 300 meters, delivering more reliable performance in the face of longer distances, obstacles, and cluttered signals.

Other Must-Have Features

Built with demanding pro creators in mind, Saramonic Ultra also has other must-have features found on its previously launched models: noise cancellation, auto gain control, a responsive AMOLED touchscreen and a knob for system control, a charging case for an overall battery life of 24 hours, and many more.
